Monticello Capital was formed in 1997, and organized as a Virginia limited liability company in January 1998 at the height of the technology-driven expansion of the US economy. The location of its headquarters in Northern Virginia, in the Washington DC metropolitan area, positions the investment bank at the center of the east coast’s high technology region. Monticello Capital’s New York office opened in 2003.
