A private Virginia limited partnership formed in 1998, six months after the organization of Monticello Capital LLC, Monticello Capital Ventures LP is the repository entity for the investment bank’s equity positions, private or public, in deals concluded by the firm.

When Monticello Capital LLC is compensated in equity in its fee-for-service investment banking transactions, Monticello Capital Ventures LP becomes the owner of the equity.

The general partner and the single limited partner of Monticello Capital Ventures LP are both Monticello Capital LLC. There are no outside investors in Monticello Capital Ventures LP, and the fund does not buy into any transaction not managed by Monticello Capital.
