Ms. Pocalyko is a practicing Certified Public Accountant and Principal of her own accounting firm, founded in 1983 and headquartered in Fairfax County, Virginia. Her practice serves both businesses and individual clients. Ms. Pocalyko’s tax and corporate accounting practice specializes in individual taxation (tax preparation, tax planning, tax minimization strategies, personal finance, and investments); the high-technology corporations of northern Virginia’s service economy; marital dissolution accounting; individual taxation issues relating to military and federal government employment; and international taxation.
Professional History
Before founding her accounting practice, Ms. Pocalyko was the staff CPA for Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia; a university-level accounting instructor for undergraduate and MBA students at New Hampshire College’s overseas campus; director of finance and accounting for the federal school system in Puerto Rico; comptroller of a printing company; staff accountant at a tax firm; and a corporate internal auditor for the Prudential Insurance Company of America.
