Barbara Snelbaker Pocalyko is licensed as a certified public accountant in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the State of Florida. She earned the A.B. degree cum laude from Muhlenberg College, where she majored in Economics and Accounting. Before founding this public accounting firm, she served as a staff accountant at public accounting firms, as an internal auditor in the Fortune 100, as comptroller of both a private corporation and a public university, and in federal government service, in the former Department of Health, Education and Welfare and the Department of Health and Human Services.

She is a former member and chairman of the Commonwealth of Virginia Board of Accountancy, having served during the administrations of former Governors James S. Gilmore, Jr. and Mark R. Warner.

Breakfast of Leaders

Breakfast of Leaders is a Chief Executive Officer business forum in northern Virginia, meeting monthly in Loudoun County.

The group addresses challenges facing “leaders of leaders” and the frontline issues that they are required to confront at the top of the technology and financial economy.

Founded in 2008, the format of meetings is unique: a closed-room off-the-record presentation by a CEO or a panel of CEOs, on a critical issue chosen by the presenters, in a freewheeling environment dubbed “share and dare.”

Media may attend by prior arrangement, but all CEO comments are off the record.

Membership is by invitation.  There are no dues.  Breakfast of Leaders does have corporate sponsors.  Not all of the meetings are breakfasts.
